Happy New Year!

Didn't make it to midnight, rarely do. Looking forward to a new year of getting healthier (explanation coming), spending more time with family, and getting rid of "stuff," physically as well as mentally. Going to watch my 49ers win this morning and go on to the playoffs, maybe even the Superbowl. Then watching my adopted Oregon Ducks win the Rose Bowl.

This year we have another wonderful addition to the family due in March, a long awaited Wedding in April, Mr. itsme's retirement party in January (my own possibly in December). I'm expecting lots of changes -the good kind- this year also. Life is so short, I'm determined to make this the best year EVER.

Love & blessings to you and yours.

2012 started in Newfoundland at 11:30, which was about all I could handle. :-)

Best wishes for 2012!

P.S. Word verification is 'caterses' - if this isn't a word, it should be!

I made it to midnight and beyond. Why? I should have gone to bed. NY city was host to Lady Gaga and her crew. Good grief!

I guess I just wanted to see all the hullaballoo this year along with an aging, Dick Clark. You've gotta give the guy credit, even with a stroke he made it to Time Square this year.

"Lady Gag Me" is what we call her around here. Good grief is right. Can today's generation have a worst role model? Errr, excuse me yes, there are hundreds of them... forgive my senility.

Pretty sad, isn't it? What happened to guys like Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby?

Dead (as far as I know).

The operative word is "LIKE" Frank and Bing, not actually them. I'm thinking along the lines of Harry Connick, Jr.; Chris Bhotti; Dianna Krall...ya know what I mean.
