Full Moon 1/19/11

"It's a marvelous night for a moon dance..."

Is the moon as beautiful tonight where you are as it is here?
Truly amazing.

Looks great from here. The coyotes will be pleased!

(laughter) I love Randy's comment!

Too much snow last night to see the moon.

Thanks for your kind words - losing Sam took a lot out of me, more than I expected, and it's been kind of slow process coming back to Earth, if that makes sense.

The moon last night was beautiful. Lit up our whole backyard casting a lovely glow on our swimming pool. And...it did indeed make the coyotes gather, evidenced by their nightly calls as they ran thru the wash near my house.

Winter is such a lovely time of year down here in the Southwest. ~:-)

On the drive into work this morning the moon was reflecting on thhe surface of the ocean (Pacific) as we drove along Hwy 1 North towards Santa Cruz. It always gives me goose-bumps.

OOOoooooooooo!

Losing a beloved pet is no different from losing a loved person, they are part of our family and we feel the same kind of loss. Sam, like my cats, still with me and those not, probably had a better life than most humans.

You know what's so cool about the moon, sun, and stars? They connect all of us to one another in so many ways. While you all were enjoying the moon in your own areas, I was enjoying it in upstate NY.

Some were wondering why the horses have been uneasy the last couple of days. I know it's the coyotes.

Sorry for your loss, lemming. Our pets love us unconditionally. Those are always tough losses.
