George Washington is a Felon!
I am crushed! Our own George Washington, some say the literal Father of our Country, owes over $300,000 in overdue library fines. According to the UK Guardian old George checked out two volumes from the New York Society Library in 1789 and never returned them. What kind of example is that? Would it have delayed his crossing the Delaware that much?

well if you bothered to check out the books he never returned you will find they were "common sense" and "ethics"
and since he never returned them other government employees are unable to learn about either topic.
I also heard that George Washington lost all his natural teeth. They were replaced with wooden teeth. He also owned a brothel. Now you're telling me the poor guy perloins library books. Tsk-tsk. Some things never change except for the wooden teeth. For all we know our tax dollars probably paid for those too.
