Sarah Palin Explains It All

"We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C.
We believe" -- here the audience interrupted Palin with applause and cheers --
"We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit,
and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America,
being here with all of you hard working very patriotic,
um, very, um, pro-America
areas of this great nation.
This is where we find the kindness
and the goodness and the courage of everyday Americans.
Those who are running our factories and teaching our kids
and growing our food and are fighting our wars for us.
Those who are protecting us in uniform.
Those who are protecting the virtues of freedom."

yeah....she loves those small pockets of "pro-americans" a.k.a. small pockets of uneducated white republicans who actually like her. Or is that pro-America like Todd Palin is pro-America?

Hey! Watch it girl! Us people out here in flyover country are the salt of the earth. The pepper too. :o)

We know that you big city, New England, and West Coast types types think of us as a bunch of ignorant hicks. I'm sure you know what we think of you big city, New England, and West Coast types as well. Just remember the truth is probably somewhere in between for both of our thinking.

I'll have to be keepin' a sharper eye on you since you made those scurrilous remarks. ;o)

Hi TW, long time no hear!

I'm not really a big city girl. I was born, raised, and work in a big city but live in a small (but unfortunately growing) agricultural community and my fave Uncle lives in the great Red State of Missouri. I know you guys are the seasonings of life!!!

Glad to see you're still out there.
